Green the Greener European VET Network
As the GREEN Project nears its conclusion, partners, stakeholders, and educators from across Europe came together in Brussels on
13 May 2025 to celebrate the project's achievements and explore the road ahead for vocational education and training (VET) in the
green transition.
Over the past two years, GREEN – supported by the Erasmus+ Programme – has united education providers, industry experts, and
policymakers to align training with Europe’s sustainability goals. The project has focused on six key industrial sectors:
Additive Manufacturing, Automotive, Batteries, Defense, Energy, and Maritime – all vital to Europe's green and digital transformations.
The key outputs presented at the Final Conference:
Throughout the final conference, participants reflected on how GREEN has helped shift the paradigm: placing green skills at the centre of
technical education. Working sessions addressed the future of the project’s outputs, including how to sustain the GREEN Label and expand
the network’s reach. With the final phase underway, GREEN continues to consolidate results, secure partner commitments, and prepare for ongoing dissemination
through the GREEN VET Network platform.
